A Skylit Drive?

The Lodi screamo group just might be the next big band to emerge from the 209. They're already the biggest act in the area, as shown by their May 24 show at the Stockton Empire Theatre.

About 600 people packed the Empire to help the band celebrate the release of its debut CD, "Wires... and the Concept of Breathing." It was at least their second sold out at the venue.

Few if any other local bands could draw that many fans.
