About Astrid

In late December 2005, the Astrid seed was planted. Astrid joined together to elevate a unique alternative-rock style. The band continues to produce this sound on a constant path to the hearts of its fans. It is more than a band; Astrid is a family. The members are all on the same journey for the growth within themselves as musicians and bringing music to all that surround them. Members include Brelen Parker (vocals), Justin Linscheid (keyboard), Brad Casenave (bass), Johnny Kosich (guitar/backup vocals) and Chris Weethee (Drums). Astrid's sound is driven by Linscheid's piano and accented by Parker's vocals, creating a sound rarely heard in Stockton's array of hardcore bands. Casenave lays down the funk on his bass while Johnny rocks out on his guitar. They are currently in the process of releasing their first eight-song EP. They hope to be playing up and down the West Coast by summer 2007.
