My name is Frankie, but most call me "rUN". I started scribblin out my 1st rhymes in juvenile hall in 1988. I chose the name "rUN" when I started taggin in 1984 in San Francisco. I started to make my own beats in 2001. I make beats utilizing Fruity Loops 8XXL Producers Edition, and a Akai Mpc 2500. I normally use Fruity Loops in the majority of my beats. I also run Pro Tools 7.0 Mbox when I record. Basically its me, Fruity Loops 8, an Akai Mpc2500, Pro Tools 7.0 Mbox, a Behringer mic that costed no more than $200 from Bills Music, and a world full of sounds, samples, kits, records & ideas, and also the helpful assistant of the internet as a means to reaching out for inspiration when making beats. I pretty much create what I want & not what is expected or try to follow any of the latest trends that are out. I'm always down to work with anybody who loves making music as much as I do, whether its from another beat maker, m.c., singer, guitarist, or whatever instrument you play or if you have some positive ideas to share, I'm willing to sit down & put our heads together on making history. http://www.myspace.com/frankiemuao
