About Slackenloader
Formed in 1997, we play bars, clubs, festivals-anywhere quality rock/metal is required. We have played at The Raiders games for the Black Hole Tailgate Club for the past 5 seasons. We have played in cities from Modesto to Santa Cruz to Alameda to Reno. We often perform at Motorcycle Club Runs Including events such as the Henchmen Toy Run (Dec) The Iron Nation 9/11 Never Forget Memorial Run (Sept) and the Sons of CA Dave Neubauer Memorial BBQ (June). We enjoy a good beverage and have the ability to really get crowds excited and partying. Our musicianship and showmanship are not often equaled.In 2004 we were nominated for a MAMA award and in 2004 recieved 1st in the ModestoBEE Readers Poll "Favorite Local Band" award.
