Sophoan Sorn is a multifaceted artist in documentary filmmaking, photography, visual arts and design, and contemporary piano performance. He is the president of the San Joaquin Film Society, which presents the San Joaquin International Film Festival and celebrates cultural appreciation and media through productions of documentary films, community festivals, cultural arts, and educational media programs. He has been a contemporary pianist for over 12 years. From original compositions to impromptu arrangements, he crosses various genres from standard to classical, to pop, jazz and gospel.
