About Yung Stax

Born and raised in the city of Stockton, Yung Stax is one of the hottest and newest to the game in the 209 area. He has been writing for many years and just recently began recording.

The first song he recorded was "FAVORITE RAPPER" which also featured 209 artists Sosa and Mental Illness. 18 years young and still attending high school at Ceasar Chavez High School, he is nominated for up and coming artist of the year at the 209 Hip-Hop Awards.

Yung Stax is planning on releasing his first album by the middle of next year, or even before that.

Still, he brings heat with the mixtape songs he has released, such as "Bitch I'm Flossin'" and "Stand Up," both featuring Jay Dee of Mental Illness, and has released the single "Ball Like a Hustla" which was an instant myspace hit.

While growing up he was influenced by Biggie, Lil Wayne, Jae Millz, Juelz Santana, Jay-Z, Eminem, Bun B, Eightball and Mjg, Ludacris, Fat Joe, and others. When you hear "Stax on the Track" you know its a official.
