About V.I. (Peach)
V.I. Peach(born Vivian Butler) is the newest West Coast female sensation from the 209 area. She is the most adulterated female rapper around with her unexpected, "tell it like it is" lyrics. She doesn't hold anything back when writing her "own" lyrics. An obvious choice if you want to hear feminism in its "Rarest" form. V.I. Peach expresses real life experiences to show females of all ages... things happen for a reason... and then again... some people just have it comin'. The track "Did You First" on her 2007 E.P. "Don't You Wanna", is lyrically blatant. V.I. Peach stepped into the rap game with something to prove and nothing to lose. She's controversial, confrontational, and uncontrollable. V.I.'s music career started with help from rapper '2LE'. Influenced by many but more importantly, her niece, TaNasha Champell Caldwell killed in a drive-by shooting September 15, 2006 in Stockton, Ca. and her close friend 'L' whom was also killed. Her upcoming album features her daughter 'Nay-Nay' singing on a track dedicated to her niece. With production by Dingo & Zest/Just Plain Ghetto Productions, Mr. Nasty/Official Funk Records, and Mr. Peebodie/Curb Serven Records, this album will definitely be "the one" to keep an ear open for.
