About Crypt Orchid

Hailing from Stockton, CA, Crypt Orchid began sharpening their aggro-rock sound in the early '90s. Comprised of Steven Strain (vocals), Chris Hall (guitar), Red Nobles (bass), and Sam York (drums), the group was performing in area clubs before they'd even graduated from high school. Crypt ORchid self-released the Typecast EP in 1998. Every few years there have been demo releases but now they are in the studio recording there EP which is planned to be released in early 2008. Along with making their way to The Bodog Battle of the Bands finals, Crypt Orchid has been involved in many charitable events to help raise money for things such AIDS, and Cancer research. Also guide dogs for the blind, pairing blind people with guide dogs. Keep an eye out for Crypt ORchid.
