About Blacarias

Established in 2003, Blacarias began recording "crazy people music" as if his life depended on it. For months at a time, Blacarias is obsessed over the music he hears in his head, leaving his home studio only to work his day job. Ranging from the heaviest of grindcore to the sweetest of new wave, this music manages to flow as if it were recorded by a full band, not just one solitary dude. Blacarias emerges from his self-imposed exile from time to time, showing up at underground death-metal and punk shows in the Sacramento and the Bay Area. At the moment, Blacarias has two self-financed releases available: one full length album (2004's "Psychological Vampires and Metaphorical Zombies") and one EP ( 2006's "Beggars CAN Be Choosers"). Blacarias is currently recording music for a split with Santa Cruz's The Two Year Curse.
