About THE BEACH HUT DELI

The BEACH HUT DELI is starting a weekly event beginning in October in which we are hoping to book local bands to perform from 9-11pm every Sat. night!! We would like to promote local bands looking for a venue to perform new material- (small acts, 2 or 3 piece ensembles, acoustic performances, etc.). Musically, we are looking for Blues, Jazz, Reggae, Rock (no scream), amongst others...latin, funk, covers! If it sounds good, I'll consider it! This venue is a Deli by day, but in the evenings the owners are looking to expand their hours to bring in some live music for Friday nights! We are fortunate because they are located at the center point of the Downtown area, and with a little work to promote these events, I expect that there should be a sufficient draw, and might also create a new haven for aspiring musicians in the 209 area!! Since the Beach Hut Deli isn't a club, this isn't going to be a place that charges a cover at the door, so I'm working to negotiate a flat fee for each band on each given week. We are looking to start in Ocotober, and in order to promote properly, we need to have 4 bands booked for October very soon!!! Thanks and speak soon!
