About The Blast Bandits
The Blast Bandits started in 1996 and ended in 1999. They're back from the dead now and ready to rock. Here's a list of the many great bands they skanked with back in the day: Before 20, Link 80, Luckie Strike, Simon Says, The Readymen, Wet Nap, Sandwich Mafia, Scuttle, The Lesdystics, Monkey, The Skivvies, UKS, The Porn Cops, Mad Caddies, Siren, Rocketcar, Headboard and many more that we're forgetting.
BLAST BANDITS BIO:

The Blast Bandits were formed, drunkenly, in a sweaty bedroom sometime in September of 1996. As a matter of fact, the first show said ever played was under the alias of "that ska band with no name". The Bandits argued that day over what they should be named, thereby starting a time-tested Blast Bandits tradition. The choices were "Victims of Sobriety" or "The Sticky Bandits". Anyway, in said sweat bedroom the compromise of "The Blast Bandits" was reached. "Blast", as in we have (had) a lot of fun, "Bandits" as in we just wanted that word in our name. October 31, 1996 was the first "official" show with the name selected. The Blast Bandits played with UKS, Before 20, and Slug that day. We were NOT wearing suits. We are not rude. Songs were written, fun was had, horn sections were recruited, and underage drinking commenced...
We were teenagers then. Some of us still feel like teenagers, now (here's looking at you, Malone). Barry and Ryan went on to tour the world with Link 80/Desa. Ryan now is in more bands then there are days in the week, and Barry won't show his face these days, he's too busy wiping his tears with his 4 jersey. Buddy, after being anointed "God of Drums" by Healthy Morbidity's left-handed drummer, got all responsible and bought a house. We plan on ruining that house with a large dose of beer spills and loud music. Just so you know, Buddy. He has a whole lot of tattoos now, and thinks HED (PE) is the most punk rock band ever. Malone became The Brown Note, which really says everything you need to know about that loser. David Castellanos took the time to graduate from UC Berkeley and start 2 different quality bands (Basics and Kid Gloves), before moving to Florida, Gainesville, to be exact, and start a 3rd band (Team Mascot) that ruled. Tired of being inundated with hurricane flood waters, he returned to Nor-Cal (sans unity stars), which brings you, time-warpist extraordinaire, to now. The Bandits have returned, and we plan on rocking your face and ass, and if you don't like it, go listen to Journey.
