About Alighieri

Formed by three young music enthusiast in the central valley of California whose main purpose as a unit was to eradicate the mediocrity in metal and other sub-genres of heavy music. Founded in late 2006 by remaining members of various local metal acts, Alighieri is recognized for their agressive sound, progressive time changes, stunning accuracy on their instruments, and melodic rythms, all accompanied by the awe-inspiring vocal work of Joseph Flores. Together, Alighieri has managed to obtain over 10,000 song plays on thier myspace page; all without ever playing a single show.
