About The Rhythm Kills

Formed in late 2005 as an instrumental band with a series of lineup changes which came in the following years. They finally settled into place late 2008 and started rewriting their music with the amazing vocals of James Hopkins and the melodic-driven bass of Joe Sullivan, ex-members of local Bay Area metal band Murder York. In early 2009 they were dealt two more sudden lineup changes and acquired the aggressive drumming of Alex Espinoza (Wake of the Fall, Hillside Cannibals) and the elegant ambient guitar melodies of Chris Campbell (romancer/thee holy roman nightmare). With this new lineup and now stronger-than-ever attitude they have the potential to bring new depth to the music scene.
