Big ups to Stockton R&B singer L'Jay, who's been selected to perform in a showcase for a major label rep. Shakir Stewart, senior vice-president of A&R for Island-Def Jam Music Group, will be checking out performers April 19 in the Bay Area. L'Jay was selected to be among those performing at the Def Jam Mega Star event April 5 at Rasputin Music.
