We at 209Vibe are very pleased to announce the coming release of 209Vibe.com version 2.0. The new release will address some glitches and add exciting new features to the site, including:
-Giving artists the ability to send updates directly to fans. For fans, this means no more wading through late-night bulletins on MySpace to find out what's up with your favorite musicians.
-Providing fans and artists more ways to upload and share photos.
-A notification on your My209 profile whenever your favorite musicians upload new songs and new shows are added to the calendar at your favorite venue.
-A discussion forum.
-A music player on the 209Vibe.com homepage that draws from all songs posted on the site, creating the first-ever online radio station STRICTLY for 209 artists!
-Giving promoters and bands the ability to upload posters and fliers for events.
-Separate pages with comprehensive information about big events like the May 31 Downtown Stockton Pub Crawl.
We've also recently made some other small adjustments to the site, including a change that allows artists to upload bigger photos for their profile pages. To see what that looks like, click here. The adjustment will affect all main photos uploaded beginning today.
209Vibe.com version 2.0 should be released by the end of the week. Keep checking the site for more!
