REVIEW: The Bowmans

Brooklyn-based The Bowmans played a crowd-pleasing set June 24 at the Blackwater Café in Stockton. They kicked off the show with “On The Road," a song that showcased the vocal abilities of sisters Claire and Sarah Bowman. It was met with great applause from the crowd.

The Bowmans followed with the catchy “Digging for Gold," which had the crowd clapping along to the beat. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderfully splendid time. And they weren't disappointed with the rest of the set, which also featured “Make it Last," “Southern Sky” and “Porker Song."

The Bowmans finished their set with intensity, as Sarah pounded on her guitar while Claire manned the tambourine. The audience cheered them on. - Soriya Va
