Wyclef Jean stands amongst the common man and speaks of our pain and brings conviction to those who believe they govern us... I would love nothing more than to meet him and share with him and others a moment in time where we can all reflect together on his legendary musical and political contributions to the world and listen to his declarations, his propositions, and above all HIS WORD through music.
love his music and would love to meet him. he is my inspiration to contribute to others. i would love to talk about his music with him.
The Kingdom of Life today is crazy-insane, people all over struggling to find their center and catch their gravity. It's artists like Wyclef who hold these people down, myself included. His lyrics bring more than just a message to us... every verse, every line, every word, filled with hope and promise. His brilliance and greatness extend far beyond his music and to sit and listen to him live would be an honor... I HAVE TO MEET WYCLEF!!!

Music.Life.One does not exsist without the other. Wyclef understands this concept fully. It is more than just wanting to meet him because he is so talented. I would want to meet him because he truley proves that one voice can be heard.
Life offers so few opportunities to witness a lyrical genius perform and to have the opportunity to so would be one of the top five things to do before life expires.
Wyclef is my favorite artist. I have followed him since his days with the Fugees. His voice is amazing. His life in general is amazing, his songs, his struggles. His work as an activist is enduring. Its unbelievable how many great artists he has worked with. That is because he is so real and others see it. He is one of the all time greats! I would love to see him, he is a legend!

Wyclef Jean to Stockton Nov. 7, 2007 love the man. Have not been to a concert since 1978. His song to me are about real life.
WYCLEF IS A HIP HOP PIONEER TO MY GENERATION. TO BE APART OF THIS LISTENING PARTY IS BEING APART OF HIP HOP HISTORY. I LOVE WYCLEF FOR NOT BEING AFRAID TO EXPERIMENT ON DIFFERENT SOUNDS TO KEEP HIP HOP FRESH AND FUN TO LISTEN TO. WYCLEF IS NOT ONLY A RAPPER BUT AN ACCOMPLISHED MUSICIAN. THE LIKES OF WHICH I HOPE TO BE ONE DAY. TO BE IN HIS PRESENCE WOULD DO WONDERS TO MY MUSICAL SPIRIT. -TONY D.
Hip-Hop is a passion/love of mine, and now-a-days it is extremely hard to find good, worthwhile music. I'm appreciative of the work Wyclef Jean has created and continues to create for the world. I'm a huge fan of Wyclef and to meet and see him perform live would be a once in a lifetime experience that would be undoubtedly nothing short of amazing!!! I HAVE TO MEET WYCLEF JEAN!!!
im major fan of WYClef, not just the music, but buisness too. the longevity he has is almost undeard of in today's era. he was been in the game for so long, and he continues to make the charts. from "Fu-Gee-La" to now "Sweetest Girl"...Thats where I need to get. so Pick L'Jay
Wyclef Jean is the dopest, flyest, OG pimp hustler, gangster player hardcore MC/producer living today; he is brilliant and genius on the mic and in the studio. And the work he does for his native country of Haiti (Yele Haiti) proves that he is in it for more than just the money and status. He voices his political and social viewpoints for the benefit of others. He is an extremely talented man and one of the few positive role models in the hip-hop industry. I WOULD LOVE TO MEET WYCLEF JEAN!!!
I AM AN ARTIST AND ALSO HAVE A LOCAL TV SHOW CALLED WAT IT DO!!!TV THAT HELPS THE LOCAL ARTIST AND ENTRPRENEURS SHINE. IT WOULD BE A DREAM TO MEET WYCLEF AND ASK SOME QUESTIONS OR EVEN TAKE A PIC FOR MY WEB SITE. I BELIEVE EVERYONE GETS A START IN LIFE SOMEWHERE AND I'M HOPING MY START IS WITH 209VIBE AND KWIN.
Modern day music styles would be nothing without the lyrical sweat and blood spilled on the mic from the breath and palms of Wyclef Jean. Allow me to shake the hands of one of the music industry's most powerful and influential members of today's society. Allow me to thank him for "whoring" out his musical talents to me and the rest of the world. Allow me to meet Wyclef Jean!!!
i would love to hear his music in person. i would like to get to know him. how he works and what it like to make such incredible music as the way he does
I would love to meet someone who was in it when hip-hop was hip-hop! Fugees fo life!
With Refugee camps under investigation and Wyclef under high scrutiny it is most obvious that he is thee EPITOME of MUSIC. From his collaborations on "The Score" and "Blunted on Reality" to Ecleftic, Gunpowder, Creole 101, and the Carnival Wyclef never seizes to amaze me. I LOVE his music, his work, and the messages he conveys to the world... and I GOTTA MEET HIM!!!
remember the fugees? do i need to say more.
he is sooooooooo cool. i just started to listen to his music and i like him. i didn't think i would considering i usually listen to eighties era music. but he's cool and i would the chance to go and enjoy his company.
omg i loved his performance on the dave chapelle show. i love his music and the message he relates to the public. i try to find artist that my brother can listen to that don't send the wrong message but wyclef sends just the right message. my brother is starting to like his music and i would really like to take my brother. my brother could learn some valuable lessons from wyclef through his music i mean.
wyclef is an inspirational artist. i love his music and the message he sends out there. he is the main reason i want to help others and i stay with my head up

How is it possible to loath rap and love Wyclef Jean? I can't explain it, but it's true. My exposure is admitedly limited (Elmopalooza & Supernatural), but I know genius when I hear it. I'd love to be a part of this extraordinary experience!
There are a few artists that come along and stand the test of time, artists that remain true to their vision and calling, artists who through their music resonate the current sentiments of the people, artists who through a conscious effort engage the public with their art form. Wyclef is one of those artists who has really made people such as myself aware of the social currents through his music. Meeting him would be a rare opportunity akin to meeting greats long gone such as Bob Marley
Wyclef Jean is in a category with some of the greatest musical talents to have ever performed. He creates masterpieces in his production; paints pictures so vivid with his lyrics, one can actually picture what he is writing about when the song is heard. And the realness he brings without todays "fakeness". And Last but not least, We share the same birthday, October 17. Late BIrthday Present Maybe????
Wyclef Jean is one of the most influential artists to me. His abilities on production and singing amaze me. From his Fugees days, to his current music single with Akon and Lil Wayne, Wyclef always bring that unique style to his tracks. Wyclef inspires others with his dedication to society and humanities and a warrior and advocate of fair rights for all people. It would be great to be in the presence of a musician of his caliber.
I absolutly deserve the tickets. I am a big fan of Wyclef Jean. Just like him, I was born in Haiti then moved to the US. I love all his songs in creole and english. However, my favorite album is the 2004 "Creole 101" which really pull me back to my roots every time that I listen to it. I also adore his gorgeous wife Claudinette, she is a girly girl like me. I say girly girl in a good sense because we live for fashion. I have been living in Stockton for the past 5 years and guess what I have not met anybody from Haiti. His new album about immigrants seems great!. Well! make my day! Give me the tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love WYCLEF- any one who can take a person that was booed off the stage at the Apollo in Harlem (Lauryn Hill) and make a STAR out of them is a true genius. His style of music is like none other! He is the greatest! A man that gives listeners music to groove to yet educatate them as well- I would love to be in his presence to fill live that movement.
Wyclef is responsible for alot of the best music thats been put out. He's also helped skyrocket careers. He's a hip hop icon , and also is an ambassador in which he helps alot of people out of the u.s.He's the bomb. i would be honored to be in his presence ...please pick me !!
He is the new generation Hero. Great artistic and creative musician with good message lyrics. Great humanitarian and role model for people from all race, nationalities and the next generation to come. I am proud to be a huge fan. May God bless and protect you to continue your great work. Much appreciation to you. Definitely, I want to be part of his show.
I think Wyclef is a very talented performer, and one of the most creative producers in the game. I think me, and him, could make a hit record together on the spot, and put Stockton on the big map.
I was a fan of the Fugees before I knew who Wyclef Jean was. I bought Carnivale when it first came out and I was hooked on Wyclef's sound & musical genius! His music is CREATIVE, theatrical, REAL, brave and beautiful & it makes you think, feel and move! Seeing him in person would be a check mark on my list of things to do before I die!
I love Wyclef and his eclectic style. Me and my wife would truly enjoy being one of a few to hear his album first. We both have been fans since the Fugees days and love his vibe.
Wyclef is, in my humble opinion, a musical genius. His artistry and his sheer raw talent shine forth in all genres of music. There is absolutely no fluff about him, from his lyrics to his style. He is defnitely a man of the people, which is precisely why he is able to attract such a wide and diverse audience. I am totally blown away by the mere opportunity to see him live here in Stockton.
Wyclef opened up my mind to hip-hop. He is one of the first artists that got me to listen to the music and the lyrics and how those two elements work together in harmony. This should would be an incredible experience for myself as a music fan.
I'm a hip hop midwife, I was there to hear the first bassline/heartbeat, watch it take its first (dance) steps and make its first rhymes. It's because of artists like Wyclef that I know that all our musical offspring ain't gone crazy. His work is proof that literacy and lyrics can kick it together, that social conscience and and bomb-ass beats can proudly make that paper. I'd love the opportunity to tell him that those of us whose ears are still connected to our brains and our hearts are proud of him.
I've been a Wyclef fan from way back with The Fugees since he did, "Yo Mona Lisa, could I get a date on Friday? Or if you're busy, I wouldn't mind taking Saturday-ay-ay". LOL. I think he has a great creative mind and am a true head from the 90's who misses the whole Native Tongues Flavor in hip-hop. He has always offered creative beats and innovative lyrics outside of the box.
I can't say that I have been waiting for years to see Wyclef Jean to play. What I can say is that I have been waiting for years to see, hear and experience someone who has lived through the battles he has. To be able to be there to hear him educate through the power of words, rhythm and melody would be something that not many are able to be a part of, let alone outside of the big cities. I would love to be a part of something that hopefully can only be the beginning of doors opening to other major artist.
I have been waiting for Wyclef to come to the West Coast and perform for years. I adore his music. He is always touring on the East Coast, but never in California. Carnival was the first album I bought and especially fell in love with Sang Fezi. I would sell my hair to go see Wyclef!
